MINDFULNESS MEDITATION FOR SENIORS
Dr. Ana has been teaching mindfulness meditation for individuals and groups since 2010. Her sessions are relaxing and inspiring and her classes are suitable for people with any religious background or none.
Although many people perceive seniors to have an enjoyable and calm life, we recognise that many seniors are under quite a lot of stress, some live alone, other may have problems with family and/or illness. So it is important to offer seniors simple tools in dealing with day-to-day stress, so they can learn how to develop more peace of mind and lessen worry. On the other hand, the elderly benefit immensely from the relaxation part of our session with music and Ana’s kind and soft voice.
During the last two years Ana found her true calling in teaching relaxation and meditation for seniors and the elderly in the community and in retirement villages. She offers INTRODUCTORY sessions for seniors community groups, retirement villages and nursing homes. She also recognises the benefits of mindfulness meditation for full-time carers in the community and is looking into extending her sessions to support them also.
PRIVATE SESSIONS FOR INDIVIDUALS, COUPLES OR GROUPS ALSO AVAILABLE IN SYDNEY’S INNER WEST, NORTH SHORE AND EASTERN SUBURBS. Ana also runs sessions at clients homes if necessary.
